Daniel "Dani" Pedrosa Ramal (lahir di Sabadell, Spanyol, 29 September 1985, umur 26 tahun) adalah salah seorang pembalap MotoGP. Ia mulai debut balap grandprix motor pada tahun 2001 di kelas GP 125 cc bersama tim Telefonica movistar Honda JR, dan meraih posisi ke 8 klasemen akhir. Tahun 2002 ia membalap di tim yang sama dan meraih juara 3 dunia GP 125 cc. Di musim balap 2003 bersama tim Telefonica movistar Honda JR, ia merebut juara dunia GP 125cc dengan poin 223. Di tahun 2004 ia pindah ke kelas 250 cc dan bergabung dengan tim telefonica movistar Honda 250, dan langsung merebut juara dunia GP 250cc. Tahun 2005 ia kembali mendominasi balapan dan mempertahankan gelar juara dunia GP 250 cc. Di musim balap 2006 ia naikke kelas MotoGP dan membalap untuk tim Repsol Honda, bersama pembalap Amerika Nicky Hayden sampai musim 2008 dan Andrea Dovisioso mulai musim 2009.

Balapan junior

Pedrosa mulai mengendarai sepeda di awal usia empat tahun,ketika ia mendapat sepeda motor pertama nya, Italjet 50.Sepeda balap pertamanya adalah replika sepeda mini Kawasaki,yang ia punya di usia enam tahun dan digunakan untuk balapan dengan teman-temannya.Pedrosa berlomba dibalapan yang sesungguhnya pada usia 9 tahun, ketika ia memasuki Kejuaraan sepeda motor mini Spanyol dan mengakhiri musim debutnya di tempat kedua, mencetak podium pertama di balapan kedua musim itu. Tahun berikutnya, Pedrosa memasuki kejuaraan yang sama, tapi masalah kesehatan menghambat dia untuk terus berkompetisi dan dia mengakhiri musim di posisi ke 3.

125cc

Pada tahun 2001,Pedrosa membuat debutnya di kejuaraan dunia kelas 125cc setelah terpilih dari Movistar Activa Cup, serangkaian rancangan untuk mempromosikan bakat balap segar di Spanyol, kembali pada tahun 1999. Di bawah bimbingan Alberto Puig, Pedrosa mencetak dua kali naik podium di musim pertama dan memenangkan balapan pertamanya pada tahun berikutnya, dan selesai di posisi ketiga dalam kejuaraan. Pada tahun 2003, ia memenangkan lima balapan dan memenangkan kejuaraan dengan dua putaran tersisa, mengumpulkan 223 poin.Pedrosa mencetak lima kemenangan dan enam podium. Seminggu setelah memenangkan kejuaraan,pada usia delapan belas tahun Pedrosa mematahkan kedua pergelangan kakinya dalam kecelakaan selama latihan di Phillip Island (Australia)

250cc

Setelah memenangkan kejuaraan 125cc, Pedrosa pindah ke kelas 250cc pada tahun 2004 tanpa proper test pada sepeda baru karena pergelangan kakinya masih dalam proses penyembuhan selama musim-off. Menghadapi musim dengan persiapan kurang, Pedrosa memenangkan lomba pertama di Afrika Selatan untuk merebut gelar Kejuaraan Dunia 250cc, termasuk satu penghargaan rookie tahun. Dalam musim pertamanya di kelas 250cc, Pedrosa mencetak 7 kemenangan dan 13 podium. Pedrosa memutuskan untuk tinggal selama satu musim lebih banyak di kelas 250cc, dan dia memenangkan gelar lain, sekali lagi dengan dua balapan tersisa di kejuaraan. Pada tahun 2005, Pedrosa memenangkan 8 balapan dan mencetak 14 finish podium, meskipun dia menderita cedera bahu dalam sesi latihan di Grand Prix Jepang.
